Job summary

Anderson|Biro, LLC in Berea, OH is seeking skilled Chemical Technicians to join our growing logistics team. This role supports chemical kitting, mixing, safety compliance, and quality control in a fast-paced production environment.

The shift is Monday–Friday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM with opportunities for growth. Training on PPE, respirator fit testing, and equipment maintenance is provided. Medical benefits after a waiting period are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in chemical handling preferred.
• Proven experience in chemical kitting or mixing.
• Knowledge of PPE usage, respirator fit testing, lock out/tag out, grounding and bonding.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail for weights and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Kitting dry and liquid chemicals according to formulations and schedules.
• Safely mix chemicals following SOPs.
• Adhere to safety protocols, PPE use and fit testing.
• Perform routine quality inspections on chemical batches.
• Use scales and balances to calculate weights and measurements.
• Maintain and clean mixing and kitting equipment.
• Operate forklift as needed.

Growing Logistics Company housing automotive paint is seeking skilled Chemical Technicians to join our team. This position comes with unlimited growth potential.

Shift: M-F 9:30AM - 6PM

Responsibilities:

• Chemical Kitting - Accurately kit dry and liquid chemicals according to specified formulations and production schedules.
• Chemical Mixing - Safely mix chemicals in precise quantities, following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Safety Compliance - Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and fit testing for respirators and lock out tag out procedures
• Quality Control - Perform routine inspections and tests on chemical batches to ensure they meet quality standards
• Use scales, balances, and other measuring equipment to calculate weights and Measurements
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of mixing and kitting equipment
• Forklift Operation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in chemical handling is preferred.
• Proven experience in a chemical kitting or mixing role.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, including PPE usage, fit testing for respirators, lock out and tag out, and grounding and bonding.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for calculating weights and measurements.
• Ability to lift and move containers of chemicals, which may weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and comply with all PPE requirements.
