Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start-to-finish solution from NDT and chemical processing to paint and sub-assembly.

Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring that the production process is run in a smooth and rapid manner.

Responsibilities
  • Process parts in chemical tanks according to specifications, work order, and other requirements.
  • Calculate the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
  • Remove parts from tanks after the specified time, rinse, and immerse them in baths before finishing processing.
  • Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
  • Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.
  • Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on the processing line.
  • Ensure all hazardous waste materials are disposed of correctly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience is a plus, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants must be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”.
