Job summary

The ideal candidate has a formal culinary degree and 3+ years of chef/management experience, with demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills to motivate the team and deliver high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary degree preferred.
• 3+ years of food service chef/management experience.
• Proven ability to recruit, motivate and develop hourly teams.
• Strong budgeting and cost-control skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the work of cooks and team members in preparation and service.
• Assist in budgeting estimates and justifications for the food service program.
• Plan and direct ordering, receiving and accounting of all food products and supplies.
• Evaluate methods and procedures to improve efficiency; initiate changes as needed.
• Interview, select, manage and develop hourly team members.
• Oversee food safety to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
