Job description

The Hilton Atlanta is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie for their Southern Elements restaurant! This individual will be responsible for supporting the full-service lobby restaurant and bar with a fresh take on Southern food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel is located in Downtown Atlanta, near I-75, within six blocks of attractions including Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia Aquarium.

Ideal candidates will have strong culinary restaurant experience in a scratch kitchen, with excellent communication skills and previous lead/supervisor experience. Hotel background is preferred.

Shift Pattern: variable, weekend/holiday availability required

What will I be doing?

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and testing food items to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Prepare, season, cook, and test food items for consumption in food and beverage outlets
  • Perform supervisory duties, including supervising line cooks and acting in the absence of the lead chef
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation standards at federal, state, local, and company levels
  • Train, schedule, assign work, and assist with team member evaluations
