Job summary

Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at our 90-villa, adults-only luxury resort on the island. You will be responsible for maintaining high guest satisfaction scores in our outlets and ensuring sanitation standards are met by the Commis.

The role requires a minimum of three years in a similar environment and excellent communication skills. We offer accommodation, meals, laundry services, a team shop and access to on-site activities to support

Qualifications

• At least three years experience in the same capacity in a similar environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• First Aid, Fire Safety, Health and Kitchen Safety trainings preferred.
• Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for guest comment scores in the outlets.
• Ensure that all Commis follow the relevant sanitation requirements.
• Ensure that all responsibilities and tasks are completed as directed by the Sous Chef.
• Support the Sous Chef by providing solutions and alternatives where necessary.
