Job summary

The Northbridge Companies is seeking a Chef/Cook in Wayland, MA to join our culinary team serving seniors. Shifts 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Thursday through Sunday and full benefits are provided.

You will cook to established standards, work with the Culinary Director on menus, maintain a clean kitchen and follow safety rules. We value growth, ongoing training, and a supportive environment that builds connection with residents.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook food following established standards and guidelines.
• Work closely with the Culinary Director to create menus that residents love.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following health and safety rules.
• Develop new dishes that residents will enjoy.
• Be professional in all culinary interactions and operations.
