Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Cheese Specialist to maintain a fresh, well-presented epicurean department, advise customers on varieties, and create engaging tastings.

You’ll be the go-to for great pairings and detailed product knowledge to help customers choose with confidence. You will cut and prepare cheeses, refresh signage, rotate stock, manage inventory, and participate in seasonal merchandising while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

As a Cheese Specialist, your day is centered around product knowledge, customer interaction, and maintaining a well-presented epicurean department. You’re the go‑to for great taste and even better pairings, helping customers explore cheeses while providing details that make selection easier. From answering questions to highlighting featured items, your role supports an engaging and informative shopping experience. A gouda part of the role is keeping everything fresh, inviting, and ready for what customers are craving next. You’ll cut and prepare cheeses with consistency, refresh displays so they stay full and appealing, and keep an eye on product rotation and quality throughout the day. Between restocking, updating signage, and introducing new items, there’s always something happening, which makes it a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active and keeping things looking their best in a fast-moving environment.

What You Bring To The Table

• Customer Interaction Skills: Clear communication when presenting product information and assisting with selection
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with cheese varieties, characteristics, and pairings, with interest in expanding knowledge
• Food Preparation Skills: Experience handling, cutting, and preparing food products according to established standards
• Attention to Detail: Consistent execution of cutting, labeling, rotation, and presentation requirements
