The Kroger Co. is seeking a team member for Murray's Cheese within our store to learn and deliver a full-service Murray's experience. You will engage customers, demonstrate cheese knowledge, and support merchandising in a lively retail setting.

Role emphasizes personal service, product education, and teamwork with the Murray's Cheese Master. Training programs will equip you with skills to drive sales while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn and engage with customers.
• Interest in trying cheese daily and expanding product knowledge.
• Ability to convey ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Supportive of cheese business initiatives and promotions.
• Ability to motivate customers and complete tasks reliably.

Responsibilities

• Cut, wrap, and merchandise cheese and related grocery items.
• Active demoing within the Murray's Cheese Shop and other areas.
• Provide proactive customer service with ongoing conversations and tastings.
• Conduct daily cheese tastings to develop product expertise.
• Contribute to target sales and gross profit goals.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Adhere to operations manual and maintain stocked, fresh product selections.
• Complete Murray's Basic Skills Training and Murray's Red Jacket Training.
• Create and maintain Murray's Boutique experience with education, service, cross-selling, and merchandising.
