Job summary

Qualifications

Management experience in food retail or related field.
Ability to taste cheese daily and promote products.
Support cheese business initiatives and drive sales.
Inspire, motivate and train staff to complete tasks.
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain the Murray’s Cheese experience with interactive service and merchandising.
Lead knowledgeable, friendly staff trained in Murray’s operations.
Communicate Kroger and Murray’s policies and procedures.
Ensure Food Safety and HACCP compliance and sanitation.
Place orders and maintain inventory.
Set up weekly in-store selling events.
Contribute to store sales and profit goals.
Control shrink, waste, and labor through scheduling.
Meet or exceed Murray’s Cheese Shop budgets.
Supervise and coach direct reports with performance reviews.
