Agropur Cooperative in Jerome, ID is seeking a Cheese Rework operator. The role involves operating cheese processing equipment and maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced production setting.

No previous cheese-making experience is required; on-the-job training is provided, with preferred prior cheese making exposure. A team-focused, reliable candidate will contribute to a stable, community-oriented operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in the Cheese Rework process and monitor quality and safety standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate the cheese shred machine.
• Safely and efficiently operate the lift machine.
• Work in multiple areas of Cheese Make Room as directed by supervision.
• Assist Belt and Cooker Operators during disassembly during CIP operations and final clean-up to prepare run.
