Specialty Cheese Company, Inc. is seeking entry-level The Cheesemaker Helpers to assist Cheesesemakers and the production team across all production steps. A can-do attitude, respect, and teamwork are essential as you follow company policies and procedures.

You will work on the Make Room with supervision from Production Supervisors and Leads, and with guidance from managers. Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for extended periods, and readiness to learn are required.

Qualificações

• Customer-focused approach and teamwork.
• Safety awareness and SOP/SSOP training.
• Ability to follow written procedures and directions.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and set up cheese forms or molds and related equipment.
• Stir cheese vats using shovels or equipment.
• Sanitize areas and equipment in the Make Room.
• Flip cheese in forms on tables at the correct times.
• Move cheese curd between vats and forms.
• Assist in brine tank prep and brined cheeses.
• Add colorants and ingredients to vats as needed.
• Load/unload 40 lb forms (up to 70 lb) to presses and pallets.
• Operate Cheese Presses, Grinders and Elevators.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment.
• Report equipment or product issues promptly.
• Other tasks as assigned.
