Job summary

Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Production General Laborer for full-time work in the cheese and whey production areas. You will operate on the production line, seal and label finished products, and help stack and ship barrels and boxes while adhering to food safety standards.

The role requires the ability to lift 50+ lbs, pass a forklift certification, and maintain reliable attendance. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with overtime potential and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Must pass forklift operations training.
• Reliable attendance and on-time arrival required.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the production line with a focus on accuracy and daily output goals.
• Monitor product quality and ensure proper sealing and labeling.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards and keep work station clean.
• Perform forklift operations and record production data as needed.
• Load/unload trucks and assist in maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Fill barrels and boxes for cheese and whey products and prepare pallets.
