Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Black Creek, WI is seeking a Production Operator to work across cheese making, warehousing, sanitation, and intake/start areas for break coverage.

You will operate pasteurizers and cheese-making equipment, assist warehouse with forklift movement, and maintain sanitation and SOP compliance. Requires at least 1 year of manufacturing experience in dairy, strong teamwork and communication, ability to write routine reports, and basic math to verify machine operation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing production experience, preferably in food or dairy.
• Demonstrate initiative and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate safe and quality conscious work habits.
• Can write routine reports and correspondence.
• Math skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide to ensure machines operate correctly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment that supports the cheese making operations.
• Support warehouse operations with moving product and packages via forklift
• Maintain sanitation procedures and SOPs
• Visually inspect product as it is received, processed, and packaged for any defects or issues
• Record and interpret data to make informed decisions that optimize cheese making operations and storage
• Communicate with other Operators, leaders, and other departments as needed to ensure operations run smoothly
