Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Production Operator for our Black Creek cheese plant in Wisconsin. You will work across multiple positions, handling equipment operations, warehousing, sanitation, and intake areas for coverage during breaks and vacations.

Hours are 6am–6pm. The role emphasizes safe and quality-focused work habits, basic math for machine operation, and clear reporting. Join a team that values collaboration, growth, and community impact.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing production experience, preferably in dairy or food.
• Demonstrate initiative and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate safe and quality-conscious work habits.
• Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment supporting cheese making (pasteurizers and related equipment).
• Support warehouse operations with moving product using forklift.
• Maintain sanitation procedures and SOPs.
• Visually inspect product as received, processed and packaged for defects.
• Record and interpret data to optimize cheese making and storage.
• Communicate with Operators, leaders and departments to ensure smooth operations.
