Job summary

Saputo Inc. in Newman, California is seeking employees for cheese preparation and packaging roles. Responsibilities include preparing bulk cheese, bagging, working in brine areas, and ensuring accurate paperwork while following all safety procedures.

• Must be able to work in the physical environment described in the "Work Environment" section.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all bulk cheese for bagging.
• Bag all cheese, smoke cheese as called for on a daily production plan.
• Work in Brine area as assigned.
• Ensure correct vat is being released.
• Pack cheese into boxes and bulk totes.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment and rooms.
• Learn operation of the robots, make adjustments as needed.

• Ensure correct vat is being released.
• Responsible for ensuring brine paperwork is filled out accurately.
• Pack cheese into boxes and bulk totes.
• Make boxes.
• Load cheese into packaging machine.
• Check packages for correct code, dates, and labels.
• Palletize all products.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment and rooms.
• Learn operation of the robots, make adjustments as needed.
• Setup case erector and top sealer for boxes.

Salary: $24.15 per hour.
