Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a hands-on production role in California, performing bulk cheese preparation for bagging and packaging, in a fast-paced facility.

You will handle brine processes, vat releases, and quality checks on codes and labels while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The role involves loading packaging equipment, palletizing finished products, and learning robot operation to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
• Must be able to work in a physical environment as described in the Work Environment section below.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all bulk cheese for bagging.
• Bag all cheese and smoke cheese as called for on the daily production plan.
• Work in Brine area as assigned; ensure correct vat is being released.
• Fill out brine paperwork accurately.
• Pack cheese into boxes and bulk totes; load cheese into packaging machine.
• Check packages for correct code dates and labels; palletize all products.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment and rooms; learn operation of the robots and make adjustments as needed.
