Prairie Farms Dairy in Mindoro, WI is seeking a Packager (General Laborer) to perform cheese packaging tasks per company standards. Immediate supervision will come from Plant Manager, Production Manager, Quality Manager, Packaging Supervisor and leads. Starting time is determined by supervisor based on business needs.

Salary is $21.49–$22.49 per hour. The role requires basic reading, writing and communication in English, with flexibility to work weekends and variable hours.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions.
• Must be able to verbally communicate, understand, and write in the English language.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and follow through to assure daily packaging schedule is completed in a cost-effective manner.
• Complete all jobs as assigned.
• Inspect all equipment to assure proper operation and safety.
• Follow operational procedures and be able to accurately complete all required paperwork and reports.
• Ensure GMP’s, Safety, and Sanitation Procedures are followed including all documentation is properly filled out.
• Assist Packaging Lead and Assistant Packaging Lead in training new employees for job specific tasks in packaging area.
