Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions in English.
• Must demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields, and understand weights and measures.
• Must be able to communicate verbally, understand, and write in the English language.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily packaging schedule to complete tasks cost-effectively.
• Bag or box cheese and place in proper storage.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Maintain sanitation, GMPs and quality policies.
• Assist with training new employees in packaging area.
• Record accurate counts and weights on production.
