Job Description

This role involves a variety of tasks including setting up, operating, cleaning, and adjusting machines. Ensuring Food Quality and Food Safety is crucial to meet customer expectations. The position requires operating equipment such as mixers, Crepaco, Porta Pump, cutters, and more.

You will also be responsible for:

1. Fugi: Operating the Fugi machine to wrap cheese in sizes from 1.75 oz to 7 oz.
2. Handtman: Making cheese logs and wheels.
3. Tipper Tie: Using this attachment on the Handtman machine.
4. PR1/Holomatic: Filling cheese-based products.
5. Ensuring compliance with all food safety protocols, supporting FSSC 22000 Certification.
6. Adhering to safety programs and operating equipment safely.
7. Following Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

We seek a self-motivated individual who can work independently and follow procedures. The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail. Requirements include:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, or two years of relevant experience (training provided).
• The ability to perform moderate physical labor during most of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to follow and execute recipes, with basic math skills to scale recipes.
• Experience and knowledge of operating a wide range of machines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
