Job summary

Murray's Cheese is seeking a dedicated Cheese Specialist for the Raleigh/Durham area to support merchandising, training, and operations across Murray’s Cheese shops. You will lead store teams to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in line with Murray’s standards.

The role requires living near Raleigh/Durham, 3-5 years in retail (cheese preferred), and strong product knowledge. Expect regular travel and frequent collaboration with division leadership.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years retail experience, preferably in cheese.
• Extensive product and industry knowledge, CCP preferred.
• Proven track record in meeting sales goals.
• Ability to analyze and leverage sales reports.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams to execute customer service, merchandising, and sales strategies to Murray’s standard.
• Administer Murray’s Cheese Core Curriculum for all new store teams, including training and product tastings.
• Coach teams to uphold Murray’s Brand Standards and ensure compliance at store level.
• Build strategic relationships with District Cheese Specialists and store leadership.
• Schedule travel and store visits to support new store openings and sales targets.
