Job summary

Leprino Foods Company in Roswell, NM is hiring a Cheese Extruder Operator to maintain ingredient mix, monitor pH, salt, and temperatures, and operate CIP processes in a fast-paced dairy production environment.

You will communicate with multiple departments, ensure food safety and quality, and perform routine adjustments while adhering to GMPs and USDA regulations. Competitive wages, full benefits, and a bonus program are included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work a 24/7 operation.
• Good reading/writing of English and basic math.
• Ability to read, interpret data and follow SOPs.
• Demonstrated accuracy in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and adjust ingredient quantities (salt, powders, modifiers) hourly.
• Check ribbon thickness and moisture hourly and adjust as needed.
• Record pH, weights, and temperatures in the computer system.
• Inspect all equipment: wet mixers, tanks, extruders, lines.
• Maintain GMPs, sanitation, and safety rules at all times.
• Communicate with Supervisors and other departments clearly.
• Work in high ambient temps and humid environment.
• Perform duties as assigned by Forepersons and Supervisors.
