Job summary

Murray's Cheese Shop in Seattle seeks an experienced manager to create an exceptional customer cheese experience, lead a knowledgeable team, and drive profitable merchandising in-store events.

Lead staff, deliver product education, manage inventory, scheduling and events, while ensuring safety, quality, and top-tier service that reflects Murray's standards.

Collaborate with Kroger's deli and district teams to meet store goals, reduce waste, and continuously improve customer engagement and sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum management or food retail experience, or a two year culinary degree.
• Ability to taste cheese daily.
• Support cheese business initiatives and drive sales.
• Inspire, motivate and train staff to complete tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and multitasking ability.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Murray's Cheese experience through interactive service and ongoing product education.
• Lead staff to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and effective cross-selling.
• Place orders, manage inventory, and oversee weekly in-store selling events.
