Job summary

IMG Academy, in partnership with NCSA, is seeking a Cheerleading Recruiting Coach to manage student‑athlete accounts and guide them through the recruiting process, while staying current on recruiting regulations. Responsibilities include assisting student‑athletes, monitoring progress, matching them with colleges, hosting educational classes, and conducting extensive outreach to the NCSA Network.

Former college cheer coach and a Bachelor’s Degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Former college cheer coach required.
• Collegiate recruiting experience preferred.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Strong work ethic with team player mentality.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (evening and weekend hours).

Responsibilities

• Assist student-athletes in all aspects of the recruiting process.
• Monitor student-athletes progress and program participation.
• Evaluate student-athletes and match them with college programs.
• Host both personal and group educational classes on recruiting topics.
• Conduct extensive phone outreach to connect with members of the NCSA Network.
• Coach student-athletes/families as needed.
• Help student-athletes/families understand steps to maximize the recruiting process.
• Retain clients and generate referrals.
• Maintain a positive, productive team oriented department.

Position Summary:

A Cheerleading Recruiting Coach maintains and manages accounts of student‑athlete clients of NCSA, helps student‑athletes reach milestones in the recruiting process, and ensures that proper progress is being made for all student‑athletes under his or her direction. A Cheerleading Recruiting Coach is also well versed in the recruiting process and current on recruiting regulations. A strong desire to guide student‑athletes through the recruiting process will be required .

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist NCSA's student‑athletes in all aspects of the recruiting process
• Monitor student‑athletes progress and program participation
• Evaluate student‑athletes and match them with college programs
• Host both personal and group educational classes on timely recruiting topics
• Conduct extensive phone outreach to connect with members of the NCSA Network
• Coach NCSA student‑athletes/families as needed
• Help student‑athletes/families understand the steps they need to take to maximize the recruiting process
• Retain clients
• Maintain a high satisfaction level amongst clients
• Generate client referrals and referral revenue
• Create and maintain a positive, productive team orientated department

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• The ability to effectively evaluate, teach, communicate, and interview with student- athletes
• Former college Cheer coach required
• Collegiate recruiting experience preferred
• Organized and detail oriented
• Strong work ethic with team player mentality
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent writing skills
• Goal oriented with a desire to succeed
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (evening and weekend hours will be required )
