Job summary

Westfield Community School is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Cheerleading Coach with a strong knowledge of Cheerleading and a focus on student-athletic achievement. Must be able to coach at all levels within the program, organized, flexible, and able to work with parents and the Booster Club.

The coach will organize practices, coordinate with the Athletic Director for games and transportation, maintain equipment records, and promote sportsmanship and safety for all

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience is preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all levels within the program and various areas.
• Enhance and maximize student athletic skills.
• Lead an athletic program for sustained participation and success.
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director for games, officials, and transportation.
• Maintain equipment records for the program.
• Organize and oversee all program levels and areas of responsibility.
• Plan and supervise practice sessions and competition strategies with the assistant coach.
• Ensure compliance with D300 and IHSA requirements including physicals and codes of conduct.
