Job summary

Muckleshoot Tribal School in Auburn, WA is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the athletic program under the supervision of the Athletic Coordinator, Head Coach and Tribal School Principal. You will help guide skill development, strategy, and values for each grade level in alignment with the school's mission.

You will attend practices, games, and meetings, organize rosters, enforce league rules, and collaborate with administration to promote the program while maintaining safety and records.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Valid Washington state driver’s license or ability to obtain.
• Experience coaching Native American students preferred.
• Member of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend all practices, games, tournaments, meetings, etc.
• Organize, administer and coach the team under supervision.
• Enforce league, state and national association rules.
• Cooperate with administration, athletic director, coaches and students to promote the program.
• Prepare and maintain a roster of all team members.
• Maintain safety standards and follow injury procedures.
• Maintain records of team and individual accomplishments.
