Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. in Woodbine, MD, is hiring energetic After-School Cheer & Dance Instructors to lead enrichment programs at Lisbon Elementary School. You will conduct engaging classes Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with 1.5-hour sessions.

Curriculum, music, and equipment are provided, and there are no weekend duties. Ideal candidates include coaches, dancers, or PE teachers with a passion for youth development.

Qualifications

• Cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5.
• Reliable transportation to Lisbon Elementary School in Woodbine, MD.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must successfully complete the required Howard County Public School System background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging cheer and dance classes for elementary students.
• Follow BBA’s structured curriculum and activities.
• Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, basic dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students.
• Encourage confidence, creativity, and positive sportsmanship.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and dependable After-School Cheer amp; Dance Instructors to lead exciting cheerleading and dance enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at Lisbon Elementary School in Woodbine, MD.

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position

• Monday through Friday

• Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM

• 1.5-hour sessions

• $45 per session ($30 per hour)

• No weekends

• No lesson planning required
