Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a friendly cashier to provide fast, accurate checkout and assist customers with payments and questions at our Apex, NC store.

You will also help with stocking, support other departments as needed, and participate in training programs. Benefits include health insurance options, tuition assistance, 401(k) match, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and a 10% associate discount.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic are required.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, or outputting information.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds with team lifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
