Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring team members to process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, verify and upgrade memberships, scan merchandise, and accept payments. You will deliver excellent member service while keeping the front-line area clean and organized.

Daily tasks include handling cash and card transactions, operating the point-of-sale system, supporting self-checkout lanes, and following club policies to ensure a safe, efficient shopping experience for all members.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service to Members and assist at checkout.
• Scan merchandise and operate POS to process purchases and accept payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the frontline area.
• Assist at self-checkout lanes and help Members with questions or issues.
• Meet cashier productivity expectations and uphold club policies and procedures.
