Job summary

Albertsons Companies is hiring for a Front-End Team Member to support a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will handle transactions, assist with bagging and cart retrieval, and help keep the front-end area stocked and organized throughout busy store hours.

The role requires friendly communication, basic math, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Prior customer service is helpful; training is provided at hire.

Qualifications

• Friendly, clear communication during checkout and customer assistance.
• Processing purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Accuracy in scanning, pricing, produce codes, and order completion.
• Handling cash transactions, counting change, and balancing registers.
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining steady workflow.
• Assisting with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front‑end upkeep.
• Recognizing and addressing pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
• Following store policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Comfort with standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., indoors and outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience for customers and help complete purchases accurately.
• Rotate between tasks like handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area.
• Maintain front-end organization and ensure the checkout area runs consistently throughout the day.
