Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Derry, NH is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience and assist customers. You will rotate between scanning items, bagging groceries, and keeping the front-end area organized.

The role requires strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training will be provided; growth opportunities exist within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience for customers and assist with purchases
• Rotate between tasks such as handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes
• Provide friendly, clear communication and help resolve customer questions
