Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Senior Director, Experience Design - Checkout to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of PayPal's checkout experiences. Significant product/experience design leadership experience.
Experience optimizing complex, existing products or flows at scale.
Strong design craft and fluency with modern design tools.
Experience building or shaping design systems and governance.

Responsibilities

Develop and articulate a clear, compelling vision and strategy for PayPal checkout experiences.
Lead the optimization and evolution of experiences at scale using experimentation and customer insight.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer, business, and technical needs into design outcomes.
Strengthen design systems, governance, standards, and review mechanisms for consistency and scalability.
Build and lead a high-performing design team and advocate for customers.
Represent Design with senior stakeholders to shape priorities and outcomes.
