Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas is seeking a front-end cashier to provide efficient checkout services, bag groceries, and assist customers with locating products and price verifications.

You will maintain accuracy in tendering, greet customers, and promote enrollment in the Thank You Card program while complying with all safety policies. On-the-job training is provided and a 16-year minimum age is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• TABC/LACT certification where applicable.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to maintain accuracy in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate checkout with accurate tendering.
• Bag groceries, weigh and scan items, verify prices.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Thank You Card program.
• Keep front-end areas stocked and clean.
• Follow safety procedures and store policies.
