Qualifications

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers as part of daily checkout.
• Accurately process purchases and handle cash, checks, cards and coupons.
• Greet customers prior to scanning items and assisting with questions.
• Identify produce items and use product codes correctly at the register.
• Maintain loss prevention and cash-handling security per store policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Bag customer orders and maintain orderly checkout lanes.
• Assist customers with coupons and payment options such as EBT or WIC if applicable.
• Ensure correct change, receipts and tape replacement as needed.
• Provide reliable, friendly service and comply with attendance requirements.
