Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders per policy (cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Follow cash handling and loss prevention guidelines.
• Adhere to rules for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Follow food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report needed repairs.
• Help create a welcoming environment and answer product questions.
