Golden 1 Credit Union in California is seeking a Checking Operations Specialist to manage checking operations, overdraft procedures, and member inquiries. This non-exempt, full-time role reports to the Supervisor - Checking Operations and supports daily operational workflows with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
You will handle escalations, assist with training, and collaborate across departments to maintain service levels and efficient processes.

You are a detail-oriented and service-focused operations professional with strong expertise in ACH, checking, and payment operations. You excel at balancing accuracy, compliance, and member service while resolving complex issues, identifying potential risks, and supporting daily operational workflows. You are a collaborative team member who enjoys training others, sharing knowledge, and stepping in where needed to maintain service levels, meet deadlines, and ensure operational excellence.
