Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a friendly Checker to join the Dallas Abrams store team. You will assist customers, process sales, and operate the cash register while protecting store assets.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English communication and the ability to lift moderate weights in a fast-paced grocery environment. Under direct supervision, you will help ensure accurate pricing, proper checkout procedures, and excellent service to our diverse community.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets. Must be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of times. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
