Job summary

Montage International's Pendry Chicago is seeking a Cocktail Server to create memorable guest experiences with exceptional service and knowledge of cocktails. Engage guests, upsell thoughtfully, and guide them through the menu with expertise while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in a luxury lounge environment.

Qualifications

• Engage with guests and recommend cocktails based on preferences.
• Upsell using knowledge of the menu and spirits.
• Maintain awareness of service sequence with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with bartenders and associates in a positive, respectful manner.
• Maintain lounge cleanliness and promptly address spills or debris.
• Follow state liquor service regulations.
• Deliver WOW moments and meet guest expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

• You have strong knowledge of s pirits , w ine , and food
• You are enthusiastic and gracious when engaging with guests

Must Haves

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations
• Prior micros or other systems experience
• Luxury hotel experience , a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

The pay for Cocktail Server is $12.96 hourly. The pay scale is the base hourly range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Pendry reasonably expects to pay for the position.
