Job summary

Rosenbauer, a leading fire apparatus manufacturer, seeks a Chassis Line Supervisor to manage workflow, output, and schedules while driving continuous improvement in production and staff development. You will coordinate with the production manager and department heads, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires extensive chassis-line experience, strong leadership, and the ability to write performance reviews and collaborate with HR on personnel matters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Extensive experience with Chassis Line production.
• Fire truck product knowledge preferred.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team.
• Strong safety awareness and detailed recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workflow, output, and schedule of the department.
• Continuously improve production processes and team member development.
• Update production manager and department heads on progress and exchange parts as needed.
• Write performance reviews and work with HR on worker issues.
• Inspect trucks to confirm specs and quality standards.
• Manage inventory of tools and parts, create POs.
• Enforce safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
