Job summary

TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a skilled Chassis Dynamometer Testing Technician to support vehicle testing, validation, and development activities. The role requires hands-on automotive testing, instrumentation, and data acquisition experience to execute experiments on chassis dynamometers in an R&D setting.

You will install sensors, verify instrumentation, operate data acquisition systems, and document test results while collaborating with engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in automotive testing, validation, or development.
  • Background as Chassis Dyno Operator, Engine Dyno/Test Cell Technician, or related roles.
  • Associate Degree in automotive/Mechanical tech preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Chassis Dynamometer Testing following defined procedures.
  • Install and verify sensors, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and other instrumentation.
  • Operate data acquisition systems, collect test data, verify data quality, and document results.
  • Maintain accurate test records and ensure compliance with testing standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, test operators, and project teams; provide test status updates.
  • Troubleshoot wiring, sensors, data acquisition hardware, and instrumentation systems.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Chassis Dynamometer Testing Technician to support vehicle testing, validation, and development activities. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with automotive testing, data acquisition systems, vehicle instrumentation, and chassis dynamometer operations in an automotive R&D or validation environment.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Perform Chassis Dynamometer Testing
  • Conduct vehicle performance, emissions, durability, thermal, and validation testing on chassis dynamometers following defined test procedures.
  • Vehicle Preparation & Instrumentation
  • Install and verify sensors, thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters, and other instrumentation required for testing activities.
  • Data Acquisition & Analysis
  • Operate data acquisition systems, collect test data, verify data quality, and support engineers with test result documentation.
  • Automotive Mechanical Expertise Demonstrate strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain, drivetrain, chassis, cooling, and vehicle subsystems.
  • Electrical & Instrumentation Skills
  • Troubleshoot wiring, sensors, data acquisition hardware, and instrumentation systems to ensure reliable test execution.
  • Dyno Experience Preferred
  • Prior experience operating chassis dynamometers, engine dynamometers, or test cell equipment is highly desirable.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Maintain accurate test records, verify test configurations, and ensure compliance with established testing standards and procedures.
  • Adaptability & Problem Solving
  • Work effectively in a fast‑paced development environment supporting prototype, validation, and development testing programs.
  • Communication & Teamwork
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, test operators, mechanics, and project teams while providing clear and timely test status updates.
  • Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in automotive testing, validation, or development.
  • Background as a Chassis Dyno Operator, Engine Dyno/Test Cell Technician, Vehicle Testing Technician, Automotive R&D Technician, Validation & Development Technician, Thermal Testing Technician, Prototype Vehicle Technician, or Automotive Instrumentation/Data Acquisition Technician.
  • Associate Degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
