Overview

FEV North America, Inc. is expanding, and we are seeking a Chassis Dynamometer Operator for our Vehicle Development Center. The right candidate will be involved with vehicle‑level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing and vehicle‑level engine calibration inside a state‑of‑the‑art 4‑WD emissions chassis dynamometer.

Job Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities will include setting‑up and conducting tests on advanced chassis dynamometer systems for certification and development projects.
• Preventive maintenance of FEV equipment.
• Maintaining quality assurance procedures.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM).

Requirements

• Associate's Degree, Trade School or Technical School.
• Systems knowledge: PC‑based applications including Microsoft Office.
• Mechanical or Electrical experience required.
• Chassis dynamometer experience required.
• Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed are essential.
• Effective organizational skills and team‑working ability desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Fabrication experience a plus.
• Emissions experience a plus.
