Goken is a global engineering services and product development company headquartered in Dublin, Ohio. We are seeking an engineer to support design and development activities, lead 3D modeling efforts, and ensure manufacturability through DFM excellence.

The role involves cost analysis, part specifications, BOM creation, and collaboration with suppliers. Travel to client sites is required, and strong communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant industry experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant industry experience, or an Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support engineering activities for large-scale product development programs by investigating feasibility, performing design using 3-D modeling software, and conducting layout reviews and 2D drawing creation.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
• Create part specifications and BOMs.
• Negotiate with surrounding component business units and suppliers.
• Perform cost analysis, strength calculations, and material selection.
• Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products and/or processes.
• Identify new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce design and parts costs.
• Travel to client sites as required.
