Job summary

Goken is seeking an experienced chassis design engineer to support large-scale product development. The role involves leading design tasks, creating 3-D models, and producing 2-D drawings using CATIA V5/V6, with an emphasis on manufacturability and cost optimization.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of chassis design experience, plus strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency. Travel to client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering activities for large scale product development programs; investigate feasibility and create 3-D models and 2D drawings.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
• Create part specifications and BOMs; negotiate with component units and suppliers.
• Perform cost analysis, strength calculations and material selection.
• Search for ways to increase efficiency and reduce design and part costs; travel to client sites as needed.
