Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a CAE engineer in Missouri to support vehicle development through design assessment and structural analysis. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership in virtual tools and methods for chassis CAE programs.

You will lead simulations, analyze fatigue, stiffness, and NVH performance, and present results with actionable recommendations. A strong background in FE modeling and CAE software is essential for the role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Five (5) years of experience as a CAE/Mechanical engineer or related role.
Experience with structural design and analysis; FE modeling, analysis, and optimization using CAE tools.

Responsibilities

Conduct design assessments with CAE methods to support vehicle development and validation.
Perform structural analysis of components and systems for stiffness, strength, durability, and NVH.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.
Lead development and application of virtual tools and methods in chassis CAE.
Lead CAE-focused supplier activities and coordinate CAE efforts across projects.
