Job summary

The role requires 3+ years in events or related fields, strong communication, and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment. Some travel within the United States (~40 days/year) is expected.

As an Event Associate at JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community Banking Business Banking team, you will be at the heart of event planning and execution — ensuring seamless program delivery from conception through reporting. Your work will be instrumental in creating memorable experiences for small business owners while driving critical business outcomes. You'll collaborate across teams, manage multiple priorities, and bring fresh ideas that help articulate the value of events to senior leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and support the end-to-end execution of key Business Banking event programs, including concept development, speaker selection, scheduling, and venue coordination
• Collaborate with Event Leads to prepare and gain approval for business cases, ensuring programs align with strategic priorities and budget parameters
• Partner with strategic vendors and external agencies to deliver high-quality event experiences that meet brand and business standards
• Drive content development by conducting speaker research and crafting questions and speaking remarks in partnership with communications and public relations teams
• Oversee attendee management processes, including registration, communications, and on-site logistics support
• Track and report on event results and outcomes, contributing to the development of key performance indicators and program goals
• Develop and deliver regular executive updates on planning progress, milestones, and success metrics
• Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in events and experiential marketing to continuously elevate program quality
• Champion diversity and inclusion in programming by promoting well-rounded talent and topics that drive comprehensive engagement
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and assignments, delivering quality work within established timelines and with appropriate leadership oversight

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Formal training or certification on Event Associate concepts and 3+ years applied experience in project management, events strategy and execution, communications, or experiential marketing
• Strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proven ability to work independently with high energy and integrity, adapting effectively within cross-functional and matrixed team environments
• Strong collaborative skills with experience managing feedback and competing priorities from multiple stakeholders
• Keen attention to detail and a consistent commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Proficiency in Monday.com, Microsoft Office applications, and SharePoint
• Willingness to travel within the United States for on-site event support, with availability for a minimum of 40 travel days per year

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in communications, hospitality, marketing, business, or a related field
• Familiarity with the financial services industry and an understanding of the needs and priorities of small business owners
• Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders and preparing polished program updates and presentations
