The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a School Social Worker in Detroit, MI to provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students within a school-based setting.

Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote social-emotional well-being and academic success, including crisis intervention and IEP participation. Relocation assistance and professional development stipends available to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Social Work program.
• Current School Social Worker (SSW) license in Michigan.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination.
