Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our part-time school-based team in Payson, UT. Help students develop functional, sensory, and motor skills to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

You will work with teachers, families, and specialists to support diverse learning needs while helping students reach their full potential in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Utah Occupational Therapist license.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience with children/adolescents and school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success.
