Job summary

Choice Schools Associates seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead and support Michigan charter schools, focusing on developing exceptional school leaders and driving academic excellence.

You will work with school leaders, boards, and authorizers to ensure high-quality outcomes, strong cultures, and compliant operations across a portfolio of schools, with travel across Michigan as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current Michigan School Administrator Certification or enrollment in a recognized program leading to certification within six months.
• Successful experience as a teacher and school leader.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing educational leaders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, supervise, and evaluate assigned school leaders.
• Develop leadership teams and ensure accountability with coaching resources.
• Lead charter renewal, reauthorization, and governance activities.
• Maintain strong board and authorizer relationships and communicate priorities.
