Sun Country Airlines in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Charter Operations Agent to join the SOC team, delivering timely information to flight dispatch, maintenance, vendors, and the SOC Duty Manager while ensuring high-quality customer service.

The role requires an associate degree or airline experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and MS Office proficiency. This is a full-time, onsite position with benefits from day one.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from clients, vendors and charter representatives while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Monitor charter flight activity and communicate movement and delay notices to clients and vendors in a timely manner.
• Maintain control and confidentiality of client manifests and sensitive information.
• Upload and disseminate passenger manifests for charters as necessary.
• Collaborate in developing the execution of irregular operations within the Charter Desk Lead and SOC.
• Confirm services and transitions arranged for charter operations.
• Perform tasks per Sun Country policies while maintaining safety and integrity.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Charter Operations Agent Overview:

The Charter Operations Agent is a key member within the SOC (System Operations Control) team and provides customer service to both internal and external clients during the operational day. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate dissemination of information to multiple stakeholders including flight dispatch, maintenance, vendors, external clients as well as the SOC Duty Manager. The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated self-starter who enjoys thinking outside the box and striving to always deliver the best customer service possible to set the Sun Country charter experience apart.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree or relevant work experience
• 1+ year(s) of related experience at an airline
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under stressful situations
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, OneNote, Teams) and able to use or quickly
• learn applications
• Ability to prioritize, pivot and multitask in a rapidly evolving airline operations environment
• Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check as well as a pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Navitaire applications (GoNow, SkySpeed)
• Previous charter, ground handling, or airline operations experience

Compensation:

Pay: $20.50 USD per hour. This is the base compensation hiring for this role.
