Job summary

Ren seeks an Associate, Charitable Compliance to support and administer Ren’s charitable compliance program. The role involves executing compliance testing, maintaining documentation, and identifying process improvements in collaboration with policy owners and internal stakeholders.

You will review IRS forms, assist with policy development, and ensure state registrations are up to date. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Analytical, research, and communication abilities are essential.
• Experience with compliance testing, documentation, and remediation tracking is required.
• Knowledge of IRC §§4966, 4967, 170, and 501(c)(3) helpful.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulatory environment.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to support compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support §4966 and §4967 compliance testing and monitoring; document facts for review.
• Review §170 substantiation and appraisal documentation for adequacy; report inconsistencies.
• Assist with client policy reviews and development of updated policies and procedures.
• Research IRS, Treasury, and state developments affecting DAFs and foundations.
• Develop testing methodologies, workbooks, and templates with remediation tracking.
• Produce reporting to stakeholders on testing results and remediation status.
• Assist with client deliverables and presentations.
• Coordinate annual state charitable registrations and conduct audits for good standing.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders across Ren.
• Leverage AI tools to improve testing and reporting.
