Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Dallas is seeking a Charge Virtual Care Registered Nurse II to join the Virtual Care Department. This on-site, PRN-night role supports nursing leadership and patient care across virtual and on-site teams.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license with at least 3 years in acute care, BCLS compliance, and strong communication. You’ll contribute to safety, collaboration, and high-quality care within a magnet-certified hospital.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• 3+ years as an RN in an acute care setting required.
• 8+ years RN experience in PCU/ICU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic human needs and safety, addressing physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Collaborate with health care teams to support patient and family understanding.
• Charge Nurse communicates and collaborates with the health care team to ensure teamwork.
• Participate in shared governance and councils as part of decision making.
• Support Virtual Care leadership by guiding staff and maintaining a safe environment.
